About me

My name is Krzysztof Olczyk. I am a 22-years old student of Computer Science at Technical University of Lodz, who spent one-year Erasmus programme at Technical Univeristy of Valencia.

Since early years, I have been interested in computers. For ages I have been programming in Borland Delphi, exploring the worlds of more advanced applications and technologies. In my range of interest were COM/ActiveX technology, Win32 api, interprocess communication, distributed and multi-tier database applications, shell programming and DirectX-based applications.

Later, I also gained experience in programming in pure C and C++. Simultaneously, I got interested in web-based script programming, namely, writing MySQL-backed scripts in PHP.

Nowadays and for last two years, my attention is focused at the Microsoft .NET platform, especially developing managed applications in C#, both for PCs and for Mobile Devices like PocketPC and Smartphones. My interest also covers utilization of powerful COM interop mechanism and platform-invoke to write application reaching beyond the opportunities provided by features of managed libraries.
Recently, interested also in developing gadgets operating in Google Desktop.
