Introduction

Did you want to organize your files, but you are sick and tired of opening every single file in its application to view its content? Did you dream of an easy way to preview file? Now your dreams came true. Download and install PreviewIt gadget and you will be provided with new way to preview various types of files. Simply drag file over the area of plugin and it will be prieviewed in pop-out window. Drop it and it will be opened in associated application. Drag outside and the preview will disappear.

Features

PreviewIt gadget offers a built-in possibility of previewing following files:

• multimedia (mp3, wav, avi, mpg, wma etc.)
• graphics (gif, png, jpg, bmp, etc.)
• internet content (html, swf flash-file, pdf, etc.)
• microsoft office documents (doc, xls, ppt)
• text (txt, rtf files)

You can configure certain options, like stretching of previewed bitmap or font to be used to render plain text.

Additionally, if you like listening to the music in winamp all the time, there is a function which lets you preview multimedia files without problems. Namely, it will automatically pause winamp for the time of previewing (resuming it after preview has finished)
