Shortcuts Panel? What's that?

I am sure you agree that there is software that you run definitely more often than the other. Traditional place to put shortcut icons to such a software is Windows' desktop. However, it has very huge disadvantage - it is covered by the windows of running application. Wouldn't it be more convenient if the shortcut icons be visible all the time - despite of the active windows? Deskbar of Google Desktop is such a place. After having installed my gadget called Shortcuts Panel you will be able to place an icon of any file right in your deskbar.

How does it work?

Once you have this gadget installed, you may drag-and-drop any file to the are of the gadget and its icon will appear in it and you will be able to run it by clicking. You can reorder the icon by simply dragging them. In order to delete an icon - drag it outside the gadget. After holding the mouse over the icon - its name appears. You can right-click to change it.
